The Role:

Working within our established team you will be responsible for:

  • Management Reporting including the Monthly Sales Order Report, WIP calculations and updating previous months WIP,
    and reconciliation of TB balances
  • Analysis of costs monthly and WIP/Accruals
  • Management of Accounts and Admin team
  • Manage the year-end audit
  • Ensure credit checks carried out on potential customers
  • Sales order and profit reports from CRM
  • Responsibility for Credit Control and manage escalated issues
  • Daily cash receipt postings and allocated correctly
  • Monthly direct debit collections
  • Oversee the purchase order processing function, authorisation and timely receipt of goods
  • Ensure invoices are correctly authorised
  • Review G/L posting and make any necessary changes
  • Payment run approval and process in PTX
  • Review creditors balances /allocations / payments
  • Staff expense reconciliation, ensuring this is completed monthly and costs posted timely to the correct expense accounts
  • Manage the review of open cases to ensure they are timeously invoiced
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Cash flow forecasts
  • Fixed Asset reconciliation and depreciation posting
  • Monthly Accruals & prepayment checks

Skills, qualifications & experience:

  • Preferably ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified or significant experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to convey clear and concise information both written and verbally
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as a team
  • Ability to prioritise and meet strict deadlines
  • Planning and organisational skills
  • IT skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of information handled
